Dr. Lakeshia Smith is the visionary founder, owner and lead coach at SpeakNStyle LLC. With over 20 years of experience in public/motivational speaking, she helps professionals master the art of public speaking. Lakeshia was a member of Toaster master’s International from 2014-2018 where she received training, certifications and awards for public speaking, she’s also a published author, ordained minister, certified chaplain, education specialist and youth advocate. She currently holds a doctorate in Div., & Christian leadership. She believes in community service, family and most importantly having a personal relationship with God. As a child growing up, Lakeshia was always told she was too loud and too excited even by her peers but it never stopped her from being who God called her to be and it was that loudness and excitement that others saw as a problem, God used to catapult her into her calling. Because of her own experience, she vowed early in her speaking career that she would never allow any woman she helped to lose their voice or feel like they didn’t matter.
Her company blends executive communication training with confident personal branding styles. Lakeshia empowers others to command any room with grace, style, and authority by helping them find their voice and own any room they step in.
